Banksia fraseri or (Formerly) Dryandra fraseri
I love the smaller Dryandras with their wildly erratic leaves and tough constitution. This little guy has the added bonus of clusters of pink to yellow flowers along the stems. Even though they're tucked into the foliage, they still present well. A surprisingly good option for tall understories or mingled in with other plants.
Provide full sun or part shade with good drainage and airflow. Expect the mature height of around 2' high and wide. Hardy to at least 26f.
