Banksia menziesii (Dwarf Form)

Banksia menziesii (Dwarf Form)

One of the most iconic Banksias from Western Australia. I like to grow the smaller form as it's more garden friendly, but packs just as much punch when in bloom. The flower heads are in full bloom by mid to late summer with each head averaging about 5-6" tall. This is an excellent plant for hillsides or large containers.

Provide a location in full sun or afternoon shade with good drainage and air flow. Expect a mature size to around 6' high by 6-8' wide. Tip pruning at a young age encourages a fuller plant with more flowers. Hardy to at least 26f with some tip damage.
